CAOS would like to wish everyone good luck on upcoming finals. If students are looking for something to learn over the summer, CAOS suggests dowloading the Stanford iPad and iPhone App Development series, as there will be a few summer CAOS Learning Series in which we will meet on campus for about 2-3 hours to discuss the material, and develop small iPhone applications. This Week: Processing + Arduino Weatherlamp Prototype
At this weeks meetup I will be presenting my prototype of a lamp that changes color based upon the current weather report. Bring your thinking caps because we will be looking at some code in the Processing language as well as the Arduino microcontroller platform. All code presented is my personal work and is open source under the BSD license. I hope this will be an interesting introduction to the powerful features of the processing language and the infinite hackability of the arduino microcontroller platform.

Thanks for reading,
